I stands for Innovation…..

As a good thing to remember out of the bad things I usually encounter during my journey from home to college was once staying in a Hotel room and watching Scary Movie 4 on my seniors Lappy…. It was basically a Spoof of different Hollywood Movies…. Like War Of the Worlds, Grudge etc…

So as a mind always on fire, I recently was thinking what if I had to make a Spoof of Tare Zameen Par?… Yeah the Movie in which Amir Khan tries to Redeem the life of a 8 year or so boy…. So as a part of a Spoof I again was thinking with whom should I replace the role of Amir Khan with?….

Needless to even think, I would do it with Michael Jackson….

Are you guys in any way thinking now?… The original film features a 8 year’s or so old boy, so who else can I Spoof with other than Michael Jackson?…. [:P]

Brahmins are the “Real Dalits” in India……

Yes. It is shocking, but the Truth
Brahmins are the “Real Dalits” in our country…. Take a note that we are the “Real Dalits” in India. We have been out casted  from the society, no more respect to this class of society. 50% of Brahmins are working in Patel Nagar in East Delhi in SULABH SAUCHALAYA. 80% of rickshaw pullers in Banaras are Brahmins. Only Rs 200/-  is given as an endorsement to Brahmin priest in India to support their family along with a measured quantity of rice. It ’s gonna be none others than us who cares. So if you are financially sound please do some contribution to a poor Brahmin once in your life. Give away some alms if you see someone poor. Any thing more will be really appreciated. Do it yourself. Educate one Brahmin child. Please take a step soon…….

The statistics in this blog have been plagiarized from a known source….

I appreciate this effort…. http://www.orkut.com/Community.aspx?cmm=26100123

Organizational Angles……

The last week was a great experience for me to have the privilege to ride with two academicians of greatest reputation…… They were Prof.N.R.Shetty and Prof. C.K.Kokate. Both the gentlemen(one of them a Bharat Ratna) were the the dignitaries visiting my college on the occasion of the Section Annual Convention of the Indian Society For Technical Education, a non profit technical organization held in my college…… Well after all the proceedings and conclusion of the event successfully, I was just thinking what are the contours of any organization….. And the very night had a healthy talk with one of my close pals in the college about my question….. After the talk I realized that the PM to sweeper does things in an order of three mathematical figures, a Rectangle, a Triangle, and an Inverted Triangle….

1) Any organization while doing any work first brings out notices to make people aware of what they are doing, those are the Rectangles….

2) And after thats done, when holding the event the dignitaries are seated on the stage and their names against their chairs are kept inside Triangular name plates……. These are the Triangles I was talking of…..

3) And then finally after everything is done, refreshments and snacks are served in the shape of Inverted Triangles(Samosas…. etc)….

So any event or happening or an organization can be summed up into three figures, Rectangle, Triangle, and an Inverted Triangle…….

Oooooppsss Am I a Commentator?……

Well recently I was caught up in the common room of my hostel and found nothing else to do but to watch TV….. And surfing through the channels I came across the highlights of a test match between Australia & Sri Lanka…. As expected Australians dominated in their home ground and the Lankans were on the verge of a shameful defeat! Then came in a heroic 42 from a youngster who was going on for Stuart Clark….. Ammmmm his name was….. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh some Jayawardene….. I quickly reckoned the number of players in the team with the name Jayawardene….. They were definitely more than the number of Singh’s in the Indian team….. As a matter of fact, if I were a commentator it would be very difficult for me to pronounce these absolutely impossible Sri Lankan names…. But one thing will always save me, that’s the Sur-Name….. I was listening to the commentator, I guess it was Michael Slater struggle to pronounce his name and then all of a sudden realizes his Sur-Name was Jayawardene, and then he quickly says “Beautiful Cricket Shot from Jayawardene, Awesome footwork”……..

I just thought had he not known the surname, may be he would have said “Yeah the guy with the Reebok bat played a thunderous stroke, straight to the fence”….. lolz!

Jayawardene’s, Jayasuriya’s,Ranatunga’s,De-Silva’s,Silva’s are absolutely saving the job’s of many commentators…..

Well as a testimony to my blog i am naming the current Sri Lankan squad… Try doing the impossible, pronounce them….

1) Marvan Samson Atapattu

2) Charitha Malinga Bandara

3) Umagiliya Durage Upul Chandana

4) Tillakaratne Mudiyanselage Dilshan

5) Congenige Randhi Dilhara Fernando

6) Sanath Teran Jayasuriya

7) Denagamage Proboth Mahela de Silva Jayawardene

8) Hewasandatchige Asiri Prasanna Wishvanath Jayawardene

9) Chamara Kantha Kapugedera

10) Kulasekara Mudiyanselage Dinesh Nuwan Kulasekara (Well he reminds me of Rao Gopal Rao…. lolz!)

11) Mohamed Farveez Maharoof

12) Separamadu Lasith Malinga

13) Muttiah Muralidaran

14) Panagodage Don Ruchira Laksiri Perera

15) Thilan Thusara Samaraweera

16) Kumar Chokshanada Sangakkara

17) Lindamlilage Prageeth Chamara Silva

18) Warushavithana Upul Tharanga

19) Warnakulasuriya Patabendige Ushantha Joseph Chaminda Vaas

20) Michael Graydon Vandort…….

That ends the list….. Well if I was a commentator, I will never sign a contract with a channel that covers Sri Lankan matches…. Lolz!

Gear up, It’s time for Hill ‘ffair……

It’s Time, It’s Back, and It’s Happening Again! Yes I am talking of the time in the campus when there is absolute Euphoria in the air….. The time when the best of the students threw their books into their shelves, assignments lay untouched on the tables, oblivious about exams and grades, tiring days and nights of practices and arrangements……. Bunking classes to dance and sing, designing posters and banners for the events, huge talks on publicity and sponsorships….. The chill in the air, biting cold, nothing could absolutely stop any proceedings here….. Yes it is time for Hill ‘ffair 2007……

Well if I walk into the toilet and find the guy next door to me, who barely bothers to bathe in a month and always has the look of a bear with beard all over and beyond your imagination, shouting out…… “Haan I’m getting ready now, finished shaving…. Will bathe and come in a moment, let’s push off to the OAT…. chicks are gonna come there”…… then I’m convinced that it is Hill ‘ffair time! Well this is all for the so called “Khocha Club” (Audience Club) people….. Nevertheless there always exists another set of people, the ones who run the show…… People who have been grilling their ar**s tirelessly for about a month and a half to make this extravaganza a success…… With just a trifle of help from the teachers and the administration, the students do it all! Right from getting the lightings to the music instruments, the curtains to computers to print certi’s…… We do it all!…. And after all the preparations, the three nights pass off just like we never saw them! Like a dream, never will you find a paused moment….. The Open Air Theatre, amidst all the blessed chill of the great Dhauladhar’s becomes a centre for heavy rock, peppy dance numbers and not to forget a den for the budding Sonu Nigam’s and Shreya Ghoshal’s (lols)….. As a spectator I find immense fun to hoot at the top of my voice at the happenings on the stage, and at the same time applaud the ones who have woooooooooooed us!…..

And as one of my close buddy says, after those three days you will find youself in a uninvited “Hangover”…. then why shell off bucks on Vodka?….. [:P]

If possible, come and see how things go wild in  the nature’s lap…… Enter a “ZERO GRAVITY ZONE”, and Lose yourself to the spirit of the festival!………

Victim or Prostitute?…….

The last Sunday I was reading an article in The Time Of India…. It read something like Rs.250 crore compensation for rape victims…. And to read further the article’s content was something like, “There’s no compensation that a women who was a rape victim can be given, so the government has now decided to give a monetary compensation to the victims….”

So Rs.250 crores has been released by the govt. as a part of their so called “Monetary Compensation”….. This is the most inhumane declaration ever made by the govt…. An issue which needs to be seriously thought on!…. A woman who has been tortured physically and mentally, and been a victim of the societies hostilities does not expect a monetary compensation….. If the judiciary system and the law policies are having so many loop holes that even a school going guy has the guts to rape a girl, is it fair enough to give monetary relief for bearing torture?…. Getting back to the title of this blog, so is the govt. trying to categorise all “Victimised Women”, as “Prostitutes” (no apologies for using the word so shamelessly)……  Well as far as my little knowledge goes, it is a Prostitute who is paid after Sexual pleasure……. So is every “Victimised Woman” a “Prostitute?”…… What are all the “Mahila Samiti’s”, who go on fast for no reason doing now? What is the honorary Supreme Court Of India doing about this?…..

I say that there’s nothing the police department cannot do(if they are willing to)….. The law system has to be changed….. Rape is an atrocious crime, which can never be forgiven at any cost!…… Instant justice cells should be introduced which deal such cases of exploitation very seriously and punish the criminal…… Well I say hang him by his “B**ls” until Death! (Once again no apologies for the profanity…..) The criminal who victimised and choked to death a school going girl in Kolkata, was hung to death 13 years after he committed the crime…… Imagine the pain and agony of the girls family all these years! How much monetary compensation can the govt. give to that family?…..

Kudos to the Indian government and to the Law policies! Jai Hind……

Good bye, My Fat Old Buddies……

Today morning, my attention suddenly shifted to a carton which was lying silently in my home…. It was actually filled with text-books which gave me great support during my pre-engineering studies…. Cherished all the moments spent with those fat and thin books during those days! And later realized that I no longer needed the fat and thin books I was just talking about… Took no time to say goodbye to My Fat Old Buddies…. Adios to all of them!……
